ABOUT LAWN CLUB SUPPLIER ACCOUNTS
A Suppliers Account provides suppliers to the lawn care, lawn mowing and gardening industries with unique opportunities to represent their businesses and products directly to their professional customers on Lawn Club. With exclusive rights and privileges to create their own custom News Channel to promote their latest news and offers, a Suppliers Account brings many benefits to these businesses.
However, we must always remember that Lawn Club is a community for Contractors, first and foremost.
With that in mind, the businesses invited to create a Suppliers Account must fit within a category which would be of most relevance to our members.
We also cannot create a situation where our News Channels become flooded with worthless information which may be self serving to the business owner, but would simply be seen as spam by our members, and would flood our servers with mostly irrelevant content.
So we do need to have some controls and restrictions on just which businesses can create a Suppliers Account.
BUSINESSES INVITED TO JOIN LAWN CLUB AS A SUPPLIER
Firstly, your business must have legal authorisation to sell or market the product, or to otherwise promote the business name or brand of the business you wish to represent on Lawn Club.
Secondly, you must be a manufacturer, or national or state supplier, or otherwise legally en####led to market or publicly speak for the product or business you want to represent.
The product, business or brand you represent must be of relevance to be used as a commercial grade product by contractors within the lawn care, lawn mowing and gardening industries in Australia.
It is not our responsibility to authorise the representatives of any company or brand. You understand that you may be subject to legal remedy by the company owners if you indeed have no right of representation. In such a case, we will of course be obliged to provide all relevant information in any legal process.
Please do not promote domestic grade products on Lawn Club.
Good examples of commercial grade equipment, product or service suppliers:
- Lawn mower manufacturers
- Turf maintenance equipment manufacturers
- Quality lawn and garden fertiliser or nutrient brands
- Specialised turf equipment manufacturers
- Garden tool manufacturers
- Reticulation suppliers
- Software providers
- Plant breeders
- Lawn Mowing Contractors Associations (not for profit)
BUSINESS TYPES UNSUITABLE FOR A SUPPLIERS ACCOUNT
To keep us on target with only providing the most relevant content for Contractors, as well as to ensure our website doesn't become bloated with less than useful information for our members, we must place some restrictions on who can join Lawn Club as a Supplier. Keeping in mind that an official Supplier Account brings with it great privileges as well as responsibilities.
Examples of businesses which would not be suitable for a Suppliers Account:
- Retailers, including online retailers
- Turf farms and plant nurseries (types of retailers - ambiguous rights of representation)
- Suppliers of domestic grade products
