Rover With Kohler Motor Issues
#1

Hi Everyone,

As I am new to this forum, I hope I have put this in the right spot.

We are contract mowers for dept housing. we have always had rover mulch and catch self propells however the new one we bought 4 months ago flutters and dies after about 30 min work. It has been in and out of repair shop 4 times and has just gone back in this morning. they dont know how to fix it. Has any one else had this problem?

Cheers

It could be anything!, a faulty ignition coil will cause those problems when hot and they should be able to test it. Or a blockage in the fuel cap breather, blocked jet ect....

Sounds like sand grit in fuel blocking main jet, try take fuel bowl off and clean it and let fuel run for few seconds with bowl off . Generally coils aren't hit and miss they die total .
