Good price on the whipper and blower - cheapest in the shops around me is $529 - still rather buy from a shop tho for warranty support.

I had a look at their range while I was shopping on Sunday, what suprised me was the salesman had very good product knowledge and knew what he was talking about. I'd say he had attended a few training days. Price is ok but you can do better if you know where to go.

Perhaps he was, the industry on the sales/repairs side of things is very dangerous. People lose it too easy these days, I've had a chainsaw thrown at me, spat on and many other incidents. And that was the early 90's, an old workmate owns a mower shop in Brisbane, it's worse now he has staff assaulted weekly and cameras everywhere.

It's silly things Drew mainly repairs or warranty related. An example was a fellow that returned his Victa after 6 months for not picking up grass. When I inspected the blades there was none he'd worn them down to the bolts, but he wanted warranty and went crazy and it took two of us to control him. Or they would get a repair done then they would break something unrelated to the repair then become enraged when you tried to explain the situation. That's just a few simple examples I could go all night. From what I've heard they come in drugged or pissed, the drugs are the problem now that I never saw.

Lucky I've had knives pulled but that hand gun would of been very scarey. I walk 8kms at night in winter only to keep fit, I now carry a longer Maglight just in case.

I used to work the graveyard shift at a servo that was a cab changeover depot - lot of the drivers swore by their 5 D cell maglites for dealing with stroppy clients - don't know that it would work that well now on someone full of ice - times have changed.

That's retail/sales for you. I'd take mowing any day over that. The only trouble I've ever had is waking up angry neighbours early in the morning and lonely housewives.

 and lonely housewives.

^ They are downright dangerouse. Especially when they say stupid things on your work msg bank.

Monday i had one that went " call me when ur alone, i want to discuss money with you"...I blew up at her. How dare some slapper put my relationship in jeopardy. stupid cow, thinking of drooping her.
