As usual there is no mention of the motor Watts!

Volts and Amps without Watts are meaningless nothing figures. It is the motor draw (power) that does the business.

I am overly optimistic, I am 3/4 full of beer again!

Watts in electric motors equates to HP in combustion engines.

4Ah battery equates to the size of the fuel tank in a combustion engine.

If you're looking at battery I can't rate EGO gear highly enough.  I have the line trimmer and chainsaw and they have been excellent.   One battery charge I can do 4-5 regular properties, and that's with the small battery, I carry three.  Wish I'd bought more of their gear during the Masters closing down sales.

No dealers up here, with freight is close to $500, better buying a 82v Victa $499, AEG 56v 599. 18v AEG 399. All Bunnings available not that that means available here '' we can order one in for you though''

Effective Product

Very happy with unit although if you use all extension you must be Mr Universe. That said I am very happy with the unit using 1 extension only.

Buying this cheap stuff is a bit of a gamble - the Trade Tools hedger I snapped up for $148 a month ago is back with them for warranty repair because of the amount of smoke it pumped out - unusable - no mixture screw on the carby and fuel oil mix was as per manual so nothing I could do - I'm glad I bought through TradeTools and I assume I'll end up with a usable hedger in a week or two but for the amount of hassle it's caused me already, I should have just bought a basic commercial model for $250 more - and I'm back looking at the Stihl HLA65 for a pole hedger.
