I tow nearly every day but not the weight you do. Ive had a ton in the trailer on a couple of occasions and its not a nice feeling.

Is that what they mean when they say the tail wagging the dog? Lol

Oh i know that feeling. Had 2 landcruiser utes on a trailer and 1 on the back, going down the first hill i thought the trailer was driving. Few hundred K.s later tow ball gave way, dealer quickly changed over to a proper set up.

Hi guys thinking of getting a van my self , great info , dont suppose anyone has any pics of how the set the insides up  looking for ideas cheers

Just bought a brand new Renault Trafic, got a great end of year deal on it, now I'm thinking how to set it up inside as well.   I think lining the floor and walls with ply is the go, then make some narrow shelving down both sides, mower kept in place with some timber screwed to the floor to chock the wheels, that should still leave enough room for 3 or 4 large bags of clippings/waste, although I rarely collect more than 1 a day unless I'm doing a big hedge.

Ordered a 5ft folding aluminum wheelchair ramp from ebay, that should do the job for getting the mower in and out.  Once I've got it all setup I'll post some pics.
