Way To Tell How Fast Your Self Propelled Mower Is Going
#1

Hi everyone

Is there a way to tell how fast your self propelled mower is going? Maybe an app for for a phone?

My greenfield sp slasher is a good pace for me no idea what it is.

My victa mustang sp mower is a good pace foe me no idea what it is.

My victa sp 550 was way too quick for me again no idea what it was.

My solo sickle bar mower is slow but for the jobs it does that is ok.

Cheers

Extrapolation of a measured short period of time should give a near enough answer

Drive a mower in a straight line and measure the distance in meters it travels for a given period of time

to keep it easy time for 1 minute

meters traveled per minute multiplied by 60 minutes gives meters per hour

divide the answer by 1000 gives kilometres per hour

or

time for 20 seconds

meters traveled for 20 seconds multiplied by 3 to give meters per minute multiplied by 60 minutes gives meters per hour

divide the answer by 1000 gives kilometres per hour

or

time for 5 seconds

meters traveled for 5 seconds multiplied by 12 to give meters per minute multiplied by 60 minutes gives meters per hour

divide the answer by 1000 gives kilometres per hour

Cheers
