I was in an Autobarn store recently and noticed that they had a belt measuring jig there - put your old belt on and you could read it's spec - then you could go shop online for an alternative - I recall Grae posted a lot of great info on belts on another thread a while back.

Industry standard belt length measurements are almost always the OUTER circumference in mm or inches

So you can normally measure reasonable accurately without removing the belt if…

you run a thin non-stretch tape or fine cord (thin string, not rope) around the outside of the belt to establish the outer circumference

and measure the width across the top of the belt section and the belt section depth thickness.

I can help with this guys, alas I've gone bush and using my phone. Old mate in the industry can give me the equivalent part number from an after market supplier. If you're still looking when I get back I'll see what I can find.

they're lasting ok but the Totalrubber ones split pretty quickly on the top - not made for running through S shapes on pulleys l guess and l'd like to have a few on hand before the growth takes off (if it does.....no rain on the horizon)

Couldn't find an aftermarket belt based on the Victa part number. Power Up Products used to do them but not anymore.

Hint to all

No machinery company on this planet makes its own drive belts… (Belt makers excepted)

Companies that make belts make them to a set of dimensions and offer a level of engineering and material quality to suit a price range.

All belts are only a cord set, a cross profile, a length and an encasing material at a cost/quality.
