Aldi Garden Waste Bags Are Back!
#1

Hi All,

I've used nothing but the 270ltr size for a couple of seasons now:-

good value - they stand up so you can load them - and they last pretty well.

Yes it's a pity - looks like NT still not on the radar for them:-

https://corporate.al...ebsite__11_.pdf

but they're doing so well it's probably only a matter of time - when they first opened here (a couple suburbs over from me was the first OZ store) I was pretty skeptical - now we shop there first and Woolies and Coles get our scraps - and it's forced them to compete so we notice their prices seem to have come down across the board to nearly match Aldi's

I probably wouldn't buy much Electrical/electonics gear from them but that's not singling them out - so much of that stuff in all stores is poorly made Chinese cr@p - but if you want to try it out, Aldi's Chinese junk  won't cost you as much as the other's - most of my gardening hand tools are Aldi and they've stood up so far.

I've got the Saxon 85L from Bunnings, it does alright but would prefer it to be made out of a canvas or similar material. They don't like sharp sticks. I guess with anything.. if you are careful it will last.

I use one of the pop up bags from Bunnings and the Jumbo bag. Use the pop up to fill the Jumbo on the vehicle (cause full i,d never pick it up ).

Get to where i wanna dump it,s just drop the side and grab and drop.
