Ride On Vs Slasher

I've discovered lost tribes on some jobs l've done with my Lawnboss

The older Cox (and the new model back to the old designs) are amazing machines.

I actually dont have a ride on. Have been close to buying one but not just yet, no real need.

Slasher is $80 for 4 hours hire vs Ride on is $150.

I hire a billy goat a few times a year. Really easy to use but it does push grass down so you may need to go over the thicker stuff 2 or 3 times. Tip is to let it do the work and take sweeping turns.

Whatever you do walk the whole job first and remove anything. A stray brick will ruin your week...

I have a JD lawn tractor but I use it for home use (it came with the house) and only use it occasionally for work. It surprising the amount of work they can do if you take it slow.

If you can get man and machine for $60 hour for a Pushie/SP thats gotta be worth a lot more. If it was mine i,d be $100 at least.

Agreed. He is an older guy and semi retired and happy at that. Ive passed his number on for jobs I don't want.

Never even had a thank you call or a xmas bottle back from him though...
