Hi all, just wondering what others are quoting for pulling weeds. In the last six months I've had lots of requests to pull weeds out of beds. I started by quoting/charging $70.00 PH PM but its tough going on the back so I increased to $100.00 PH PM and still getting people asking my back. It's by far the worst task we do so I'm wondering if I'm under quoting/charging.

You are bang on. I am pretty much around $120 an hour for hand weeding but try to avoid it like the plague. Kills me when people say YES!  Although can be rewarding if its for a garden reno.

Just say No... seriously. Not many  do it for a reason.

One of our members (NathernandSarah??) does it but they charge $1000 plus a day for it for one person and $300 for the offsider if they want two people.

Still not worth it in my opinion.

Yes I am going to start saying NO to a few of them. Hand pulling is an ass. But slash and spray is not too bad.

I won't hand weed for any price but I do spray and whip off later for some jobs (or vice versa if they want it pretty on the first visit) - if anyone held a gun to my head I'd use a dutch hoe.

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I haven't been a mower man for to long. Started mowing late in life. Funny story about weed pulling. Being over 60 I can not get up and down to much without breaking down. First weeding job found myself staying on the ground and rolling to next clump of weeds in the garden bed. Young female Client saw me doing this and and thought I was having some sort of fit and came to check on me. Told her it was easier then getting up and down. She threw in an extra $50 on top of the quoted price. I don't do weeds anymore.
