Hey Ando , try putting some dishwasher liquid in your mix , sometimes clovers and other waxy weeds the poison doesn’t stick well so a wetting agent is required. Also spraying too early in the season , whilst it’s still too cold for good grass growth allows weeds to regerminate . Bindis can sometimes need a second hit .

I mix a good squirt of dish washing liquid and I use a marking dye as well...

I do get good kill rate I suppose....its just they grow again right beside the dead one...  its like as soon as i kill one....two appear in its place !!

I think I started spraying to early in the season...  as you said

I'm convinced I sprayed to early in the season ..i did the first round of sprays 4 weeks ago..

My attack plan has been .....do a full coverage spray first....wait 4-6 weeks..   return and spot spray / clean up the ones I missed.

But on inspection....i have to do another full coverage spray...  the weeds have returned that much.

Yeah it’s a trick one because bindi need to be sprayed before they crown otherwise you will have bindi eye anyway. I always spray around this time and hope that the bindis are mowed up next mow . Most Australian summer grasses start to grow when the temp reaches around 22 deg. It’s also been a long winter this season also probably didn’t help your cause , still plenty of snow around.

Look for your local CRT agent or a large produce farm store.
You can buy a product which is called bromicide m or bromicide 200 is similar lot cheaper than bindie.

Thanks for all your Great links and advice guys  ..cheers

try globe Australia mate , also there are much better chemicals than bin die. have a talk to them , they will sort you out

I'm speaking with them on Monday !  Hopefully sort something out

thanks for the link...do you get good success with this ?

I suppose all these different brands would be similar...they all seem to have the main active ingredient of  200g/L Bromoxynil,

I'm sort of hoping the product from Globe Australia would be a bit stronger than your "of the shelf product from bunnings

Ok...I went to Globe Australia today ,here in western Sydney.

I bought 5lts of bindie killer (bin-die)  for $150.,  which works out to be $15 per 500ml..compared to $30 per 500ml at bunnings

and I bought 5lts of blue marking dye for $75 ...which works out to be $7.50 per 500ml compared to $20 per 500ml at bunnings

winning :D
