Mark Up On Materials?
#1

Just wondering how much others mark up prices for materials supplied when working out quotes …

Mulch, soil

Timber edging/sleepers, pegs/posts, concrete

Pavers

Plants

etc

I run a bit of a mix ranging between at cost to plus 25% up to 60~80% especially on smaller jobs.

I remember what I'd forgotten but can't remember why I needed to

You’re right, takes just as long to buy 1 item and 10.
About 2-300% for mulch, people know a bag costs $10, they don’t know a ute load costs $25
A good 20% generally
Maybe cost a carton or massage into the job if it’s hard work
