Idiot driving that he brought upon himself. Probably in a rush to get to another job to pay his franchise fees.

the ####head in the car was speeding, the Jims guy probably got a suprise and rashly tryed to change to the other lane to get out of the way.

I thought the filming guy was speeding too ? car seems to be revving hard.

Doing a u'y with a trailer is always testing, it seemed pretty tight, then he realised the situation & went for it to get out of the centre lane. Actually there were 3 lanes & it looks like he would have been better heading for the outside lane, although he then would have had to cross the centre lane.

Not easy making an unintended split second decision, easier to just be an arm chair expert.

Final verdict, Jims guy still in the wrong, but a bit stiff ? just my opinion.

Cheers Fred

He chose to make the turn at the wrong time, should have waited until way clear. Totally agree it was all the Jims guys fault. But thats nothing to do with being a Jim, just being a crap driver.

Anybody think the trailer also had a lot to do with it? Those mowing trailers with a big box mounted over the LH wheel seem pretty susceptable to this type of tip over. Especialy if the box is packed with gear. I'd say most normal trailers wouldn't have tipped in this instance.
On another point, just because the cam car was acellerating doesn't mean it exceeded the speed limit.

Yeah good point on the trailer design, but if you have the ride on secured to the opposing side you should be ok, But the G forces on the mower when you make a turn like that would be testing most set ups I would think.

That change of lanes from inside to outside is when the trailer goes over if he'd stayed on the inside lane then changed later he would've been ok , as there was no need to panic he had time. Centre of gravity of the trailer is high as well which doesn't help. Still got give points for execution & completely emptying the contents of the trailer in one go
