Hey there crew.

Ive been trying to find someone who makes racks for backpack blowers in Australia ...  I can find plenty in the states ..

My back pack blower just rolls around in the trailer...

How do you guys secure your backpack blower for transportation ?

Always make sure hot exhaust doesn't sit in dry clips

and don't put it in the dunny corner, LOL

on a serious note…

We have Shindi 80's, the back plate has built in spots to hang them from

you only need 2 hooks

I have a Stihl BR 600  ...its the same sort of thing ...I'm thinking I will have to make something up... A base plate with a hook to secure the handle .. with a bungee cord in the middle

Assign yourself some time to have a good browse around in Bunnings. Look at the hooks section and garage storage, so many options. A while back I got a set of tool clips from Aldi for holding my sticks to the wall of my trailer tool box, thats been great.

With my back pack sprayer I have a hooked web strap holding it to the side of my ute, works a treat. Will post a pic later.

here it is mate, ...tilt your head to the left...LOL.

The straps are available at Bunnings in different lengths, I love them, they come in very handy. You may not have these moveable tie down points in your ute but could install a couple of anchor points.

Ever seen those plastic crates that growers use. Some of them are a foot high.I use one of them to hold my fuel containers etc & also use it to hold the spray pack in place on my ute.The corner on the passengers side.Pack is parallel with width of cab.Crate is pushed up to the pack end first. Works fine & i drive like i'm in a f1 vehicle even round corners towing a large open flat deck trailer. I'm almost up to winning my 20th yearly championship ,i'm certainly ahead in the points including constructors champs. Wish me luck for another great season finish :D

well...The staff here at Ando enterprises were working overtime this weekend...The R&D dept was busy designing and testing various methods of securing a backpack blower in the trailer..  I told the team to spare no expense!!!..  Use the latest materials and technology !!!

And they didn't disappoint after a many hours of cutting , welding and fabricating they came up with this design winner..

I have called it ..

"Bread crate with Bungy strap"  :P

 Ilskak.jpg

It actually took me about 3 1/2 minutes to knock it up....but it works a treat..  Problem solved !!  :D
