my main one now is a shindaiwa T230 which i purchase 2nd hand through ebay from a Jims guy originaly i was going to add a coupling and use it for hedge trimming and prunning but this doesn't work :(  but the i thuoght i would use it as a brushcutter over the busy period as it's 1/2 kg lighter than my T260 still using it all the time 2 years on

back up is 2 x T260's about 12 & 14 years old

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against smile.png

So true the others unlike Honda are worth using not just looking at :)

I have a Victa Tornado Plus.  lol.

I loved the way that you just replaced the single length of cutting line, but I could see that get annoying very fast when using it more than one hour in a fortnight!

Looks like this will be becoming my backup machine quite quickly...
