Quickbooks Vs Myob

Hi all,

Just wondering who uses what in terms of Quickbooks vs MYOB. I am about to make a purchase to simplify record keeping and am leaning towards Quickbooks but have never used either before. Wondering if anyone here has experience with either and your thoughts?

Cheers Kev

I have a preference for MYOB as I use it for my IT business. I remember using QuickBooks many years ago but I seem to remember that it was single-entry accounting not double. But it's about what is convenient for you and what your accountant recommends.

For basic accounting and invoicing I use Wave,  does the job for me and it's 100% free.

it's a shame Keep It Easy f**ked up when they went to the cloud version, l'm still using the earlier model with a lifetime licence (but no updates or support) but dread the idea it might crash one day.....

We use Quickbooks. Sometimes call it Slowbooks! That's probably more the user though (my husband keeps the books :P) It suits us and once we got used to it, found it easier than MYOB, although we only had experience with an older version of MYOB.
