Short Hedger Attachments

I've never owned one but these things look like the closest thing to a universal hedging solution to me:-

add an extension piece and you're done. I've got the Ego handheld and the mul####ool long hedger and find I need both for most of the jobs I do - bit of Googling shows only petrol versions available from Husky, bushranger, Honda, and Shindaiwa

Does anyone use a short hedger and how do you find it? - anyone know of a battery option too?

Can someone try the “I’m just here to give it a trim, not make it straight” on a customer and report the results

Yes, and it cuts beautifully but weighs a tonne

I have the Stihl HL-KM 145, which does have a longer shaft, as well as a homemade catcher attachment. I find it good doing the top of the hedges at head height with out the need for a ladder, as well as doing the tops of hedges which are lower then 3 feet high, as you don't have to bend over doing your back in.

Otherwise, I do the rest with a regular hedge trimmer (Husqvarna 122HD60).
