Tell us about it, Honda have a golden opportunity to sell every commercial bloke a new mower, but every salesman says you don’t want that.
Bunnings appears to have them available online

Cheers SB, I'd forgotten about Bunnings - they're a special order item which means no floor stocks but I'll give them a call.

Crocster did you try Brisbane Mower Centre at Enoggera?  Got mine there and it seemed like they had a few in stock only 2-3 weeks ago.

Yeah Plucka, I know Nick there from the Mower Market Springwood - he sold me my first HRX 3 years ago when he worked there - they've got no stock but one on backorder due mid Feb which I might be able to snaffle - he's trying to source another one somewhere if that can't happen -

funnily enough I rang Bunnings after Spongy's post and their special orders section reckon they can get me one in about a fortnight - but I don't know how that works if Honda are telling dealers that they're out of stock in OZ - anyway with any luck I'll have one in the pipeline with my name on it tomorrow - prefer to buy from a mower shop to support the locals and because I get a discount.

In my searching in the US yesterday I noticed that the new model comes with a GCV200 engine:-

I forgot to check with mower shop this morning but I will ask whether this is the model I'm getting - may even hold off a while if they are coming in to OZ soon - the dealer advised that the big stock hiccup at the moment was a result of Honda purging old stocks in preparation for models meeting new emission standards.

Maybe you should let someone else use it first, so it,s good to go when you get it. You dont have a lot of first time success with new mowers lol.
