Hi all, have been enjoying reading through this forum getting lots of ideas. In the process of dotting my I's and crossing my T's to get a lawn mowing business off the ground.

One question is do I need some sort of work place compliance or OH&S certificate?

I have noticed on some lawn mowing websites they say they are fully OH&S compliant. What is the process to do this. Im in NSW if that helps??

I know I will need to get public liability insurance but not sure on the OH&S stuff.

Just get public liability to start of.. that's all you need with Residential work..

its when you get into commercial work you need all the other stuff

I wouldn't worry about it for residential work.

For commercial stuff its another kettle of fish.

White card

Safe work statments

Msds sheets

Insurance docs and all that stuff

For mowing resi lawns a copy of your insurance policy in the truck is all you need incase a client wants to see that you are insured
