How To Renew Ndis Registration?
#1

Good Morning All

So...I am a registered provider for the NDIS.

Here in South Australia the renewal of rego comes due on June the 30th

It seems they have changed the registration requirements by way of an NDIS Commision.

They are asking for WPHS documents, PPE, Police clearance etc

Once this is all uploaded it then has to go to the AUDITOR.

The auditor charges around $1400.00 for the audit.

Is there anyone who has gone through this process?

Is there someone with a WHS for a lawn mowing business?

Anyone with a PPE for a lawn mowing business?

Anyone with a RISK ASSESMENT for Lawn mowing?

I have looked on line but some businesses are asking around $295 for a PPE (generic)

I know the Auditor doesnt want generic stuff

I have about 30 clients via the NDIS and dont want to loose them

All help and avice greatly recieved.

Cheers

Keithone

Yes was the first thing i did when i started

its all easy to do.

WHS Policy  general policy   https://www.google.c...eGgF86HLpmDiD6b

Operation Procedures  , your machine operating procedure have all the info just need to add some manual handling for loading lifting , working near trafic etc.  your risk assessments will identify hazards.

RISK ASSESMENT  any and all hazards for the job.

PPE   machine operating proceedures have PPE requirements, then there are the hazards eg: Sun, cars,

Remember if a worker that works outside all day gets skin cancer and the employer didnt have polices  and procedures to make them  protect themselves "by wear long pants and long sleive clothing, hats and gloves and also access also to sunscreen".    the Business will be fined by worksafe and can be sued by the worker.  employ some  one and not have anything in place and you could loose everything if there is a accident,  Insurance wont cover negligence even solo trafers need policies etc
